What if God said, "                     "

1.   You are more than a conqueror. (Romans 8:37)

2.   You are victorious (1 John 5:4)

3.   You are a new creation (Eph 2:15)

4.   You are saved from your enemies (Ps 18:3)

5.   You are free from the law of sin and death (Rom 8:2)

6.   You are an heir (Eph 1:17)

7.   Through His poverty You became rich (II Cor 8:9)

8.   You walk in love (Eph 5:2)

9.   You are redeemed (Eph 1:7)

10.  You are chosen (Eph 1:4)

Now that you know that God said these things about you, what will you do with this information?

The Heart

Tomorrow morning,' the surgeon began,
'I'll open up your heart...''You'll find Jesus there,' the boy interrupted.  The surgeon looked up, annoyed 'I'll cut your heart open,' he continued, to see how much damage has been done..'but when you open up my heart, you'll find Jesus in there,' said the boy.

The surgeon looked to the parents, who sat quietly. 'When I see how much damage has been done, I'll sew your heart and chest back up, and I'll plan what to do next. ''But you'll find Jesus in my heart. The Bible says He lives there. The hymns all say He lives there. You'll find Him in my heart.'

The surgeon had had enough. 'I'll tell you what I'll find in your heart.  I'll find damaged muscle, low blood supply, and weakened vessels.  And I'll find out if I can make you well. ''You'll find Jesus there too. He lives there.'

The surgeon left.

The surgeon sat in his office, recording his notes from the surgery, '...damaged aorta, damaged pulmonary vein, widespread muscle degeneration.
No hope for transplant, no hope for cure. Therapy:
painkillers and bed rest. Prognosis: here he paused, 'death within one year.'He stopped the recorder, but there was more to be said. 'Why?' he asked aloud.
'Why did You do this? You've put him here; You've put him in this pain; and You've cursed him to an early death. Why?'

The Lord answered and said, 'The boy, my lamb, was not meant for your flock for long, for he is a part of My flock, and will forever be. Here, in My flock, he will feel no pain, and will be comforted as you cannot imagine.His parents will one day join him here, and they will know peace, and My flock will continue to grow.'

The surgeon's tears were hot, but his anger was hotter. 'You created that boy, and You created that heart. He'll
be dead in months. Why?'

The Lord answered, 'The boy, My lamb, shall return to My flock, for He has done his duty: I did not put My lamb
with your flock to lose him, but to retrieve another lost lamb.'
The surgeon wept...

I was never a designer kind of person, but more and more I'm realizing that this is the kind of gear I want on my back every day. 

Ephesians 6:11-18 (Amplified Bible)

Encore! Encore! I absolutely love to encourage people. Here is another dose of "God Is Able!!!" During worship give Him your all and watch how He showers you with love.

Let us not shout, clap and get excited more for sporting events or for celebrities then we do for The God That Saves, The God That Loves, The God That Redeems, The God That Delivers, The One True Living God, ETC...............

Father in the Name of Jesus! Let us (Christians/Christ Followers) go out into the world and apologize for misrepresenting the Good News of Jesus Christ. Let us tell the world that YOU are LOVE and that Your Son died upon the cross for all mankind to be restored back to you.  It was never up to us to say who could be saved. It was never up to us to judge anyone for their sins because we have our own to deal with.

Let us tell the world that You are a Savior, Deliverer, Redeemer, Our Creator, and the Lover of our souls, The Truth, The Way, The Life and so much more. Let us speak blessings and not curses over people. Let us tell the joy of the Lord and where our strength comes from. Let us humble ourselves under Your mighty hand and tell of Your goodness and not our own. 

Let us tell the world that YOU are exactly what YOU said YOU are and that we have not been what we said we were or what you made us to be.

Oh God! Please forgive us for being self-righteous, haughty, close minded, judgmental, and for acting as if we have saved ourselves. We repent in the Name of Jesus!

Let us tell them of YOUR mercy and grace and how it is extended to all.  Let us tell others how we have fallen short of Your glory. Let us tell others about our shortcomings and how You forgave us.  Let us tell others about how YOU are not a respecter of people, and how we have been.

Teach us how to get back to the narrow path so that we can begin to reach the lost.  Let us preach the Good News and not twist the scriptures to suit our motives or our pockets.  Forgive us for mishandling your creation and using your people for profit.

Let us stop bickering about who is right and who is wrong. YOU and YOU alone are the Judge of all things good and evil. We don't know anything unless YOU tell us and that YOU are the Leader and not the follower. 

Please teach us how to be about YOUR business and not our own in Jesus Name I pray.

If we only teach our children worldly knowledge and nothing about God then it's all for nothing. Let us leave an inheritance to our children and our children's children.  Their inheritance should be one of righteousness.

I cried for the most part of first service today. My heart was so filled with things that needed to be purged (There are different ways that purging can take place and crying is one of them) and He of course answered my prayers. I feel a change in my heart and I'm thankful.

I have so many wonderful people in my life that encourage me often and this is why it's easy for me to encourage others.  The love of God can move mountains.  Why not do the same for someone today.  Be an ENCOURAGER.

I must admit that I am going through menopause and it's and up and down journey, but God is still great! What's funny is that He is still talking, but by the time I get home I can't remember what He said. LOL! I will try to do better.

When I initially started this blog I just wanted to write my thoughts about God, His Word, and the life that He has given me.  My past, my present, and hopefully my future.  I knew that I wanted people to be able to come and get the straight the Word of God and how it has impacted my life, but lately something has changed and not necessarily for the best. 

I started being more mindful of what some might say. I didn't want my local leaders to think that I was talking about "them."  So, I WILL SAY THIS FOR THE LAST TIME AND MOVE ON......WHEN GOD SPEAKS TO MY HEART IT IS EITHER ABOUT ME, WHAT I'M GOING THROUGH, REVELATION KNOWLEDGE, OR THE BODY OF CHRIST. FOR THOSE THAT ARE IN HIM WE ARE ONE AND THERE IS NO DIVISION AMONG US. THIS BLOG WILL HOPEFULLY ENCOURAGE, EDIFY, CORRECT, REBUKE THE DEVIL, AND GLORY GOD AT ANY GIVEN MOMENT!!!!!! THESE ARE MY THOUGHTS, HOPES, DREAMS. PRAYERS AND DO NOT REFLECT ANYONE ELSE'S OPINIONS OR QUOTES UNLESS DULY NOTED.  -I guess this is my disclaimer.

Now, I will write what He has placed upon my heart and prayerfully be led by the Holy Spirit that He has placed within me without shame or fear of man.  I will not water down my thoughts.  I think that there is already enough of that going on, so please forgive me for not staying true to God and what He has made me at this time and also what He is molding for future use. 

These are just random thoughts:

1.  Why do we look to the world for answers instead of looking to the Word of God?

2.  When a celebrity has four or more homes, a fleet of cars, a private jet, etc.. yet they are telling us about conserving

     energy....What!!??

3.  Why do we look to the world to tell us how to raise our children. No spanking....use the time out system?

4.  The world says, "Get all that you can and can all that you get."

5.  The world says to kill your enemies.

Look to God for all the answers:

1.  Romans 12:2

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

2.  Psalm 1:1

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

3.Proverbs 13:24

He who spares the rod hates his son, but he who loves him is careful to discipline him.
 

4.  Acts 20:35

In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words of the Lord Jesus himself said: 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.'

5.Luke 6:35

But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked.
